It is tent erection time on Heys playing field
Six adults, two children and two dogs have erected a big 3 roomed igloo on the football pitch.
As long as they pack up before nightfall I suppose no-one will move them,
although I am sure that it contravenes the 'rules' on that big sign the LCC put up, and which they have pitched next to.
As long as they don't start playing music, they aren't really a nuisance
...just an eyesore.
An 8ft high metal fence is due for erection when the field is 'refurbished'.
Maybe they will have to use Rhyddings Park then.
There are tent cities in USA where homeless people have gathered to live.
Heaven forbid!! that I could have one such on my doorstep
