Not really an Album that I bought, but best part of the Lads in the unit did (Back in 1985) was Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms", you could hear the whole Album if you walked the length of the singleys Accommodation block. After so much exposure I didn't really feel like buying the Album.

For me personally one of my favourite firsts would've been "The River" by Bruce Springsteen.
