Yes, to rival Blackpool Illuminations, Morecambe had their own Son et Lumière in Happy Mount Park.
Stubby candles in jam jars, hung from the bushes, accompanied by the sound of pensioners from Bingley, sat in shelters, singing 'I'm H-A-P-P-Y'.
