In terms of the around the ground improvements are the club on track to be ready in time for the Aldershot game?
Very much so. We’re looking to house a new control room. We have temporary planning permission to move it from its old position. That will go up next week; it has to be in place for the Burnley fixture anyway.
In terms of capacity, we’ve had dispensation from the Football League for the last 12 months and they continue to be lenient with us on that. We’ll finish up around 4,600 to 4,700 by the start of the season, so we’re only a small amount away. Once we’ve reached that we’re looking then to develop the corner of the main stand/Coppice and possibly new changing rooms but obviously the finances will dictate how quickly that can be built.
With the promise of a bright future at the club, 2010/2011 will be a big season for Accrington Stanley.
