It really is a lovely guitar, jaysay. It's with a heavy heart that I'm letting it go to be honest. It just isn't fair on the thing to have it sit there ungigged.
You get the odd snob coming along saying things like, "oh, well, it isn't a Gibson is it...". But I Pepsi challenge you to find someone who has played both Epiphone & Gibson versions of the LP Standard with an open mind and says that the Epiphone doesn't at least hold it's own. This isn't just some kind of cheapo copy. It's a lovely piece of kit for all kinds of players. If you have thousands of pounds lying around, then go and get a Gibson
(and protect it with your life). But if, like me, you want a versatile, durable, sweet-sounding guit-box that is pretty as hell and doesn't demand a second mortgage from you, then this is the one for you.
As shown in the package & the price, I just want this guitar to go to a good home. Hopefully I'll find one here.
