My wheelie bin is new (only had it for 3 weeks) so it hasn't started ponging yet. I have been putting the rubbish into a bin bag first to try to avoid goo, but to be honest I find the bin cumbersome. I have a big step down from my yard to the back alley which is hard to negociate with the wheelie bin. I have very little rubbish, as I re-cycle most things so my neighbours have put my black bag in their bin on the last collection so that I wouldn't struggle with the step.

So I give a gold clog award to my neighbours for their kindness.
