Gout is very very painful..The best drug by far to get immediate results ( can't spell relief ) is diclofenic sodium tablets. The marketing name for these is ::volterol..Only just recently made so you can buy them from the chemists...You will need a big dose to start with and the tabs are 12mg each..you will need to take 4x of these first off.Your doctor will give you alapurinol tabs to take every day, this is to stop the gout coming back.....How do I know ? had it for years, and it is hereditory in my case !! Tony
