I'd agree with that!
Rob Heys did say that money from cup runs would be made available to Coley so that should partly go to rewarding the existing players not just finding new ones. As far as I know no-one has a contract beyond the end of this season, so, as the Club can't gamble on two-year contracts, offer the players contracts with clauses related to games played ... if the player meets the minimum number of games played both the Club and the player have the option to extend the deal for another season. It offers more security for the players if they play well and it would avoid the Symes situation arising again; it would be difficult to watch Ray Putterill walk away on a free transfer at the end of January.
