Your right though, it was a missed opportunity, there must be a good number of fans like myself who only arrive 5 mnutes before a game and go straight into the ground and straight back home afterwards.
It would have been an ideal time to get the hardcore support in and around the store.

On the other hand, £20 a ticket for the carling cup may possibly be the most expensive admission fee of the 2nd round, so they may not care to much.

I have been told Reading are charging just £2 kids, £7 adults
Everton are charging £7 kids, £12 adults (less for season ticket holders)
West Ham are charging £5 kids, £10 adults
