Demand for plastics leads to changes for Hyndburn service - letsrecycle.com Six years ago recycled plastics were costing the council money, so succesful was the amount people were recycling. The last government were awarding subsidies, if recycling targets were met by councils. With the coming cuts, this carrot will probably be removed...and recycled in the compost bin.
