Bagatelle

We went out for the day today to St Anne's and came across a Bagatelle board complete with the balls, in very good condition in a charity shop.

As it was in good condition and a bargain at £2.50, we picked it up thinking it would be good to keep at the caravan for rainy days, but does anyone know how to play it correctly?
