I agree that it's a shame that the Fire Station closed but I don't think you can blame Tesco for that - they bought a derelict site, the Fire Station was long gone by the time they moved in.

It says on the BBC site that it might be demolished now. That's possibly a good thing as it was a bit of an eyesore.

I hope everyone who lives around there is ok and no damage done to other properties.
