The traders were given a letter yesterday informing them of the start date of 6 day trading. Since full council has been cancelled this evening there will be no opportunity now to change this, it is being rammed through by Britcliffe's cabinet.
The final insult to the market traders is a sentence informing them that anyone can pitch an outdoor stall for just £2.50 per day.
I'm sure that's gone down very well with the stallholder who has just seen rent go past the £22k per annum mark.
