I am not sure why the news programs have to approach situations like this with such fervour.....it smacks of 'overkill'. The Raoul Moat situation was just the same.
Do we really need to see every second of what is going on?
And how much bad news was 'buried' by this event?
Anyway I am glad I was not on my own in getting decidely tired of the business.
