Some years ago Countryfile did a Halloween Special and a lot of it was round Pendle Hill. John Craven mentioned a pub that was legendery where people used to congregate which had a cable system over it which was used to slide down and they used to run a witch down it on a broomstick! Anyone know more about this pub? Did anyone use the cable system?
