Mmm do you suffer from SAD = Seasonal Affective Disorder!
It's quieter in the Autumn and Winter - less kids out shouting in the streets, less noise from cars, sleep better and longer - surely if you were a bear in previous life you'd love autumn/winter as it would mean you'd be able to hybernate and chillout!
