The really serious aspect of all the boundary changes is that there is no provision in the Act of Parliament for any appeal once the boundary commission had decided the constituency boundaries (in fact the bill abolishes the right of appeal against the boundary commission decisions). The new seats will be based on the December 2010 electoral role - and it is widely acknowledged that there are over 3.5 million people eligible to vote are will not be registered.

Also some council wards (and even polling districts) might be split between constituencies.

This really does appear to be gerrymandering on a huge scale.
