This fact is wrong MargaretR peter told me about it and i phoned British Gas
they phone me yesterday asked a few questions and i am now on the 'Essentials' Rate and they have put me on something else but cant remember what
it means that if they have to dig the gas main up or electric cable they will make sure i am not without gas or electric
so yes it can still be applied for
