the absorbency on the disposables is rubbish, i would say the nappy changing is getting better but she is a big baby 6 weeks old and and is 13lbs, drinking about 30-40oz per day. I can't go from feed to feed without her complaining half way through (about 3hrs) that she needs a nappy change, its the stupid absorbent !bead! nappy contraptions. I wish I didn't need to be as enthusiastic, and yes I have thought about going up a size, but the nappy drowns her in the waist, she is long not chunky?
Rabbit mess is not the same as kitty mess, its small raisin like pellets in there hundreds, fancy grabbing a scoop and giving it a go, and I use recycled non clumping wood based cat litter, as soon as its wee'd on it turns to sawdust again. The only one I can use as they will eat the cat litter granules??
Its my choice not to use the re usables (convenience is a persuasive argument) I am going through the process of weighing up my options on what to use going forward, but you've got to admit margaretR the 'new baby' poo is hard to deal with, i'm sure it gets easier with the age of the child as the poo becomes more solid but its still at the runny stage....i'm sure you all wanted to know that!!
