Of course it sounds foreign hon; it's Canadian
But seriously, it goes something like this: it snows for a few days. The City crews plow (plough

) and sand (grit), and life goes on. When there is a break in the snow, the graders blade the snow and slush into nice neat rows. The big blowers blow the accumulated mess into trucks which haul the crud out to some old quarries and to the landfills. We can't wait for the stuff to melt ..... that could be next March!
