We are fortunate here in having lots of places to swim ... Lake Ontario, of course ... but lots of smaller lakes in the area. Swimming is safe(ish), as long as one doesn't run into a large muskie ("Maashkinoozhe" for those of you who speak Ojibwa
) Ultimate place around here (and this is for those who may chance to visit): Sandbanks Provincial Park
Sandbanks .... and the surrounding area is famous for its wine.
