A motion is a little different from a question in that there is a definite outcome which the whole council must then enact if it is passed.
As regards honesty, I would like to think that I haven't dodged any question put to me directly but my view is that all 35 of us are paid out of the public purse and are therefore obliged to be completely honest about council business when asked.
If someone wants to ask for specific facts and figures from the council then they are entitled to them and the e-mail address to do that is:
