didnt know about this thread, was a big Elvis fan back then, I was at holy family school and i took the next 3 days off not eating not doing anything but playing his records all day and night. The only time i went out of the house was to go to the papershop and buy every newspaper there was..(cost a fortune)still have alot of them now plus other memoribilia.The only singer ive ever heard who could sing any song he wanted, from gospel,country/blues/classic and rock n roll what a singer!
