was surprised to see that the UK had Toll Roads, how many of them do you have ?

so how do Accy web users feel about these things, pro or against ? seems to me if I pay my vehicle fees i should be allowed to use any and all roads , same with bridges , anything built with public funds and on public land should be toll free as part of the national infrastructure .

Here in California we have some lanes on the freeways/motorways designated as HOV lanes , high occupancy vehicle lanes during the morning and afternoon commute hours , meaning each car has to have a minimum of 2 or 3 occupants or you get a ticket .. something which gets my goat.
How would Accy-web users who use the local motorway feel if they were told there had to be 2 or 3 occupants in the car to use the fast lane during the commute hours.
