The mental state of the human mind is not rocket science, Garinda, so true this person may not go on to commit any further or more horrific crimes.
What is overlooked though, is that he/she
was in possession of an offensive weapon (another crime). Only supposition (of course), but probably still is, and cannot plead is just for defence, can he/she ?
