Lunch was so filling neither of us have had much for tea.
Since my mum's sixty six, works full time, and has rolled by hand four hundred teacakes every morning, before most folks have rolled out of bed, she can therefore spend the money she earns however she likes.
Besides lunches out, that is our social life.
For both quantity, quality, and exceptional service, in pleasant surroundings, it was worth every penny of the £16.20.
Some people will spend that on a couple of bottles of cheap plonk, and neck it more quickly than it took us to enjoy our leisurely, very pleasant lunch.
Worth, and value, varies, person to person.
Some daft sods thought the thousands of tax payers' pounds it took to stage the laughable flash mob event was good value for money.
Others, in these 'hard times' thought it a complete, and utter waste of money, and was therefore worthless.
Takes all sorts.
