Mrs Almond....at the end of Marsden St in Accrington used to do them just on a Friday.....so we also knew them as Friday Pies(cheese pies were also dubbed this).......and they were absolutely delicious.
I haven't had one of these for years.
No never heard of um Margaret, infact I'm just kicking myself as I forgot to ask my daughter to try and get some for me from ASDA
