The only use of a long-term contract is its value as a deterrent due to compensation costs. If Bradford are quite happy to pay, then we're buggered. What use is compensation money to us, especially when the gruesome twosome are still around? What's more, what self respecting manager would want to come work at our circus, especially when considering the probable situation that Whalley Red predicts; with our quality players all leaving.
