These ping meters always give me a good rating, but my connection speed isn't always brilliant due to weak wireless signal in the back bedroom. Might be something worth bearing in mind if your results seem skewed.
It's good that they're trying to change ruling on advertising of BB speeds. People have been campaigning for it for ages; OFCOM have finally listened.
