I had a cold call last night, went something like "we are contacting all home owners in the area" at which point I intervened and said I'm not a home owner, oh sorry, but before she went off I just said you shouldn't be calling me anyway as I'm on the preferred callers list, the reply was very interesting, she said well it doesn't apply to us because we are not selling anything, I just said, that might be, but your still making a bloody nuisance of yourself and your calls are not welcome, nothing I can do about that she replies and hangs up
