This Saturday I was privileged to be at a private (invitations only) concert by Donny Osmond.
(It was a fairly small almost intimate gathering at the Reebok Stadium Bolton for those of us involved with the Melaleuca business which he is also part of.)
He sang new songs and golden oldies by request and a good time was had by all as I later explained to Busman (who was working and therefore unable to go - not that I think he's all that upset by the fact). After the singing he was going to mingle and chat and be available to sign autographs etc. I was going to ask him to sign one for a friend of mine. Unfortunately people began to surge forward and upset the 'scenery' which would have fallen onto him so he was ushered away.
I said to Busman "It would have been great but for the Donny Osmond fans at the end" to which Busman said "So, what are you then?" There was no answer to that.
