No it went through Stubbins, a mile from Ramsbottom, where it joined the Rawtenstall, Bury line.
There is still a trace of the platform at Stubbins and bits of old bridge girders which you can see when you ride the East Lancs railway steam trains. I suppose you could change at Stubbins and double back to Rawtenstall. The East lancs line now finishes at Rawtenstall but once went through to Bacup or over New Line to Whitworth and Rochdale.
