Wasn't the wooden stand you see on the old photos Gremlin, that was definitely taken down and burned on sight as it was virtually all wood, there was some metal girders in it which were removed my a chap who's now my next door neighbour. Not sure but there was another stand on the burnley road side of the ground, which was a white elephant really of which many say that the purchase of was the start of the slippery slop to all their problems, I think it was bought originally bought from Aldershot, and was sold, but to whom I don't know, could well have been Mansfield Gremlin
