... and you reckon it was "average folk from across the political spectrum" who felt unheard and ignored?.. and so it was just by coincidence the Countryside Alliance was formed in 1997 shortly after the elections?
Besides any political leanings I'm asking why there was a protest about fuel prices then, yet the farmers, "country folk" and big haulage companies seem to be a lot less active now when we have higher fuel prices (and taxes on fuel) than those days.. a different colour of government?
