To be fair, Ken, Cllr. Britcliffe was one of the main instigators in getting the Civic Theatre refurbished (and The Civic Arts Centre).
Yes, it is in Oswaldstwistle, but I wish people would understand that it is for the benefit of
all the residents of Hyndburn. It is the nearest we have to a theatre in our area, just geography. I would love to see a brand new theatre nearer to the centre, but that would cost millions.
