If he'd gone to all the trouble to switch to Christianity just to get elected, why would he then blow it all by openly admitting that he was a muslim? After all, I'm sure he's going to run for office again at the next election, so he'd surely want to keep it covered up? What's more, if he had admitted to being a muslim, I'm sure it would have caused much more of a furore in the world's media.
