Yes, it probably was Shaz.......it was certainly open to traffic when I was little.
And as for making a difference......well, a lot of cars use it now, even though it is only supposed to be buses.
I don't think it will make a great deal of difference, the truth is Accy is dying on its uppers........and most of the remedies proffered are too little and much too late.
