Ludicrous? Of course. But there are supposedly intelligent people amongst us who use similar biblical quotes to justify their abhorrance of gay people.
Leviticus 18:22 - "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable."
Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
So next time someone tells you that homosexuality is wrong because it is condemned in the Bible, ask them why they didn't slay their child when it misbehaved!

Yes, when it comes to religious crimes, and their punishments, there's not a great difference between all those faiths who were founded in the Middle East, Judaism, Islam...or Christianity.
