When I moved over to Accrington in the late 60's I drove my car down that road a few times, I don't know why but I did. It was a bit rough and not really suitable for cars but we did those silly things in our young and foolish days.

There was a railway line that ran from Huncoat station to the brick yards and parts of it are still visible to this day, maybe this was a link off it to the Nori works.
I am sure someone has posted something about it on this forum earlier.
