a nanny is someone who is there all the time, i think the word you are looking for is childminder, maybe paying the national minimum hourly wage or over might be a start
they do have before and after school childcare facilities at most nurseries now, they will take your children to school and pick them up again afterwards (at a cost) and then you will pick them up from there when you finish work
