You old cynic, Jay! I am genuinely celebrating EU Day because it's "the occasion for activities and festivities that bring Europe closer to its citizens and peoples of the Union closer to one another." Just think how much closer we'll be to the Greeks by bunging them another lot of dosh. They'll be smashing plates in our honour all night long!
