Re: Stevenage Game
i thought the game was evenly balanced until the goal.
once they scored, they never looked back.
they where well disciplined, extremly good at pressing us all over the pitch, forcing us wide and to play it long, which in turn played into their hands.
Jacobsen was most guilty of playing aimless balls.
Our ex-player Roberts request to the ref for a red card was nasty.
We need to keep it on the floor, go down when given a nasty challenge instead of trying to match them, and out football them.
The crowd/ultras need to be clever as well - instead of constantly singing, they need to be focusing on the ref and calling for every decision.
a strong ref is essential to us going through, if we get another old-school ref who will let stevenage play dirty then we have no chance.
We as the crowd have to get onto the refs every decision.
We cant play any worse, they cant play any better - game on.
