wasnt there plans put forward to bring private landlords under control but they were thrown out.Im sure iv read here that there was.
mind you if the majority of council houses wernt sold off there wouldnt be such a need for private landlords
i used to live in that area and a lot of properties were bought by the likes of sterling homes.Speaking of which are sterling homes still going they were the proper cowboys of the private housing trade infact i viewed 4 or 5 of their properties a few years back and each one of them was a disgrace infact i felt sory for any rat that found its self with no other option but to stay in one of their properties never mind a human
