I'm gutted about last nights result and the referee was poor but this is going to be a positive thread so here it goes:
Last night the fans did themselves proud. The whole of the UK was watching and although the players didn't perform as well as we know they can the fans were absolutely fantastic. The displays and atmosphere throughout was amazing and I pointed out to my fellow Grimsby lot how little stewards you have around the ground that must help alot. I for one WILL be coming back to the Crown next year on several occasions, now I have my own Stanley shirt (which i'll be wearing every friday night at football) and still have my scarves I feel more connected to Stanley then ever before. Sadly I work Saturdays until 2pm so I wont be able to make it to Saturday games but for every midweek game I'll be there cheering on the boys!
The Clayton End was fantastic last night and to stay behind after the whistle and keep singing and showing your support was amazing, I couldn't leave the ground for ages I was to attached and now I'm paying the cost my chest is killing me
Thanks to everyone who's made me and others feel welcome throughout the season(s) I will be wearing my shirt with pride around Grimsby over the coming months and roll on next season!
