I still maintain that a concise council meeting adopting a more respectful code of conduct is of more use not only to the borough but also the councillors who are present and may not necessarily be as aware of county and national issues as is assumed.

There is nothing to hide here. Graham Jones got well in excess of 14,000 votes on his own, more than the entire Tory group and a sizeable part of the Labour group as well.

If he isn't representative of the electorate's views then I don't know who is.
