To me Hyndburn is the name of a river. I always say that I live in Accy. I've worked in Clayton, Church, Ossy, Rishton as well as further afield in parts of Blackburnshire not to mention the far reaches of Prestonand beyond but even there I would never have said that I come from Hyndburn.

I love the "temporary graffiti" spotted recently on a dirty HBC wagon underneath the words "Hyndburn Works" where someone had written in the muck "not in my opinion it don't"
