The notes in the Programme mention a club house that they obviously took pride in.
I remember going down there a season or two later and it had been burned down.
Newtown like a few other Welsh clubs suffered at the hands of their FA who insisted that they could only play in a league under the jurisdiction of the Welsh FA.
A strange decision considering that they never made the same demands on Cardiff, Wrexham or Newport.
