Not really any of my business any more, but am I wrong in thinking that the EU is not really all that good of an idea. Apart from the economic issues, the question of democracy looms large ... ironically large in the case of Greece. If it is that unpopular, why the hell don't folks just tell their governments to opt out.
The economic union thing I could accept; but all the political bs that goes along with it: I don't be thinking so. We can live with NAFTA ... it has always loosely and unofficially been there. In fact, it's hard to do without it, considering that the Province of Ontario alone trades more with the US than does China. But closer political ties with the US, no way.
By the way, my answer would be sink.
