Al, the Jazz Club was still going at Peel Park long after the football club closed down. When I was going in the 68/69 era, the Burnley Road stand had been pulled down and the rest of the ground was falling into disrepair. Think it finally closed down in the early 70's. You're right about Bold Street, though - the music was upstairs in the Lakeland Lounge. It was going at the same time as the jazz club, though.
