I can't agree that the US economy is in even goodish (like that word I do
) shape. However, the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario did put mega billions into the bail out of GM and Chrysler, as did the UAW, in terms of wage freezes etc., in order to safeguard Canadian jobs in Windsor and Oshawa. Spending to save jobs is good government.
